WEIGHT GAINS

ITS HARD NOT TO THROW ALL HELL TO THE WIND WHEN WE HAVE A WEIGHT GAIN WHEN SO MUCH EFFORT GOES INTO DIETING AND NO OR LITTLE SUCCESS IS HAD. I WANTED TO GO HAVE WINE AND CHOCOLATE CAKE AND FORGET ABOUT DIETING. THEN I REMEMBERED THE CLASS REUNION IN SEPTEMBER AND REHURSED MY MANTRA PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE, PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE.

CAT LITTER

I WAS CARRYING TO MY CAR TWO 7 POUND BAGS OF CAT LITTER. ONE IN EACH ARM. SINCE I JOINED WEIGHT WATCHERS I HAVE LOST 14 POUNDS. I IMAGED CARRYING THE CAT LITTER ALL DAY EVERY DAY AND REALIZED HOW TIRED I WOULD BE CARRYING THIS WEIGHT. I HAVE 35 MORE POUNDS TO GO TO GET TO MY GOAL WEIGHT. WHAT WE DO TO OUR HEARTS AND BODIES BY OVER EATING.

CAN I COEXIST WITH FOOD


Can I coexist with food? I have been struggling with weight loss all of my life. I'm either on a diet or off a diet. On the gain or on the lose. Once I start eating carbs, I lose control and it takes me two years to put the breaks on and take it off. Why can't I stay in control? Why do I go back to old habits? I tell myself that this is the last time I am doing this. This is way too hard and then... its three years later and her we go again.

I guess I have to face the facts that I just can't eat certain foods even in limited quantities.
