I removed all those items in the house that are not on my diet. I purged all those tempting things that I should stay away from for now. Some say you should learn portion control. If that worked, no one would be overweight
Psychology Review say that we over estimate our ability to control our impulsive behavior for tempting food, (chocolate) bad habits (smoking), distructive old relationships You have a better chance of success if you stay away then put yourself in the line of fire.
If you dont live alone, its difficult, to stay focused, which is why I am of the opinion that
IF I AM ON A DIET, YOU ARE ON A DIET. ME FIRST THEN YOU.
Fellow roomies should be supportive and you are not killing them, They need to improve their diet, too.
A formerly person in my life would the minute I went on a diet and was losing weight successfully, would go out and buy gallons of ice cream , pizza, start cooking my favorite foods. I asked him WHY he was doing that and he responded IF YOU ARE FAT, NOBODY WILL WANT YOU. Nice.
Watch out for the sabatogers.
