I like the idea of 1200 calories and more exercise. There is no magical carb weight loss which you can only stay on for oh so long. How many of us can never have bread. South Beach and Atkins works as long as you stay on it and when you are off, you gain the weight back, and now crave all the fatty foods. I like the idea of keeping my diet in my conscious mind.

1200 calories means that if you eat a little more one day, you can start over the next or cut back. Portion control. Retraining your mind, to what is an acceptable amount of food. It doesnt take long before you figure out string beans are less than pizza and if you dont want to be hungry, the beans are the way to go.
